12K white gold ring featuring a cabochon "black" star sapphire. Black star sapphire is actually more of a brown color with a tan/cream star. The sapphire measures about 10.7mm x 8.5mm. There are 6 small round diamond accents weighing about .10cts total. The setting is stamped 14K but tests 12K. The ring fits a size 4.25 finger and weighs 2.33dwt. It dates from the 1950-70's.
