14K yellow gold pair of Ithica peak turquoise stud earrings. Ithaca Peak turquoise comes from the Cerbat Mountains in Mohave County. It is part of the Kingman mining operations turquoise from Arizona, which is the last full-time production mine in the US. The round turquoise measures about 10mm and weighs 6.86 carats total. The turquoise is a true blue color with some veining and pyrite flecks. The earrings measure just under 1/2" long, the pair weighs 2.08dwt. and are contemporary.
