Description

20K white gold ring featuring a 4.05 carat aquaprase. The rectangular cabochon cut chalcedony is a light mint green color and measures about 12mm x 10mm. The ring fits a size 4.5 and weighs 2.10dwt. It is a vintage 1940's hand engraved ring fully restored with new prongs and a new stone.

The translucent bluish green variant of Chalcedony, drawing its colors from chromium and nickel, is marketed under the trade name Aquaprase. (The apple green variety is known as Chrysoprase.)
