Antique platinum ring featuring a natural Australian opal weighing 2.80 carats and 4 accent diamonds. The opal has a white body color with lots of red-pink play of color. The oval cabochon opal measures about 12.5mm x 9.5mm. The ring fits a size 7.75 finger and weighs 3.07dwt. It dates from the 1930-40's with a new head and stone.
