Description

Gilt Brass Tussie Mussie with the Fable of the Fox and Grapes with turned bone handle. The 2 panel tussie has a gox, woven trellis with grapes, flowers and thisles. It has the attached pin and ring (newer replacement). The piece dates from the 1890's. It measures 6 1/2" long and 1 3/8" diameter at the top. There is some green petina on the metal and green color on the handle.
